Another week has come and gone, and man was it busy! On Friday and Saturday I attended “Canada’s Constitutional and Governance Challenges After 150 Years“. It was a long two days of French and English speakers from all across Canada. My teacher was very pleased to see me both days, which he announced several times in Law class on Monday. Monday I had an important presentation to give on Reference Cases in the Supreme Court and their importance in Canadian government, and I am super delighted to say the I got an A+ (which is a first in university!).
The rest of the week went by really fast, filled with homework, Netflix, and Michelle coming to stay with me. On Wednesday night, Michelle and I went to the AGO for one of our assignments for Art class and we visited a photography exhibit going on there. After we decided to get edible cookie dough for dinner (but we are growing girls), so we ended up going out for dinner after. Dessert is always more important than dinner right? We went to a place on Queen Street called the Warehouse where all of the food is $5, like honestly $5. I had a veggie burger and fries (and an alcoholic beverage 😉 sorry mom) and my drink cost more than my meal LOL.
Thursday was so beautiful outside so Michelle and I hiked into Sunnybrook park which was so pretty with all of the leaves changing colours. After I finished class we went to the main campus to watch the last home football game of the year vs. Laurier. The team ended up losing 31-53 but it was still really fun to go to!
Now I’m on the train back to Windsor and I will be getting there very shortly (I will not be impressed if Gramma is late picking me up, but I’ll have to forgive her considering she made me a huge batch of caramel corn). This morning was a living nightmare because I woke up at 4am to get ready and then went to get on the bus to go to Yonge Street. The buses were mixed up and the number of the bus changed that I was supposed to take (without my knowledge), so I ended up practically running 2km to Yonge to get on the subway. It was probably really funny to the people driving by, but I was not very impressed to say the least. I didn’t think that I was going to make it, but by God’s grace I did.
I am so excited for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow and I will post lots of pictures on Facebook, my separate Facebook Page, Instagram, and Snapchat for you all to see. I hope you have an amazing time with your family and friends this weekend. We have so much to be THANKFUL for!!!!
