Christmas and New Years Eve

Well I hope you all had a good Christmas and boxing day!!

Christmas Eve we had a huge dinner which is their Christmas dinner that we would normally have Christmas day. I hope that made sense. So anyways dinner lasted a really long time and we had oysters, foie gras and all of the stuff that I don’t eat. After we had beef and potatoes and for desert ice-cream meringue. I face-timed a little bit with the fam jam and ended up going to bed around 1am.
Christmas morning I woke up at 8 but I didn’t get out of bed until 9 because I didn’t hear anyone downstairs. Danielle had just woken up so I watched The Santa Clause and then had tea with Danielle. We opened presents around 11 when the boys got up and at 1pm the neighbours came back over and we had another huge dinner for lunch. At 4 we went to the movies to go and see Paddington which was really good.

Sunday we went to Paris and we went to a circus museum in Bercy Village which was pretty cool. Normally it is closed to the public so there were a lot of people. We left and then took the metro to a little part of Paris that I like and we walked around most of the afternoon.

Monday Philippe, Pierre and I went back to Paris to go to Le Grand Palais to go ice skating. We waited outside around two hours to get inside and when we finally got in there were about 500+ people on the ice. Kinda hard to skate with that many people, but it was still fun.

Yesterday we went back to Paris to go to a mall for Danielle’s iPad which is currently not working. We spent over an hour in the Apple store and we left when we were done. We drove to Disney because it was close, and walked through Disney Village which is like Downtown Disney in Florida.

This morning I went to the grocery store with Rotary to sell apples and mistletoe which was fun. Philippe picked me up at 12:30 and we are going to et lunch soon. Tonight we are going to Paris and we are going to watch the New Years countdown at the Arc de Triomphe which is going to be super exciting. We are spending the night in Paris and tomorrow we are going to the huge parade at the Champs D’Elyesses. We were a little disappointed that the Eiffel Tower isn’t doing fireworks this year but the Arc de Triomphe will be cool.

I still don’t know the exact date that I am changing families but we are pretty sure I am changing on Saturday. It’s going to be weird packing up all of my stuff and moving again but I am excited for the change.

Well I better go, today is a busy day!
