An Oyster, Paris and Mac n Cheese

I know that this blog post is late but I needed something good to write about, and really school isn’t good.

On Friday I was officially on vacation at 12:15 which was amazing. I went to Gerard and Brigette’s for lunch and then Brigette and I went to go and get our nails done. We both got french manicures which look really nice. Friday night I had a huge Rotary dinner which was all seafood (thank goodness I got to eat beef). There was literally every type of seafood possible and I even tried an oyster. It was insane I still can’t believe I ate it.

Saturday was a relaxing nothing day which was good because I was tired all day. I even took a two hour nap. Sunday we went to Paris which was super fun. We went to the Champs D’Elysees which was all decorated for Christmas. It was crazy how many people there were. We went to the Christmas market which was super fun. Philippe gave me a metro ticket and said “If we get lost you know how to get back to the car.” In French of course. But still!! Well I didn’t get lost and after the Champs we went to the Eiffel Tower which was beautiful all light up. There was a huge globe under it that was filled with Christmas trees which was super pretty. Just as we were about to leave the tower, the lights started flashing and it was incredible. I was so so happy.

Monday was another nothing day which was perfect. Today I am going to the movies with Abigael which will be fun, I am just finishing up my Mac n Cheese for lunch. YUM. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and we are having a big dinner and the neighbours are coming over which will be fun. Christmas day is going to be pretty normal, Presents in the morning dinner at night. Danielle and I might go to the movies, we aren’t sure yet.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

I love you all so much,

  1. I can’t believe you ate an oyster either. The video was so funny. You’ve got guts sweetie, but we’ve all come to realize that over the last few months. Taking chances, meeting new people, living with new families, going to a school that teaches in a different language, doing things and visiting sights that most people only dream of. I am so very proud of you. I doubt that Christmas Day will be normal, I’m sure that yet again you will have some new and unique experiences, enjoy the celebration darling! Merry Christmas my sweet sweet Libbey. ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽโญ๏ธI love you tons.
