La Tour Eiffel

It was the best day of my life. The best.

I have been dreaming about going to the Eiffel Tower since I was a little girl. My room is Paris themed and today my dreams finally came true.

This morning Phillippe brought me to Europe’s largest street market where they sell shoes, books, clothes and lots of stuff. It was awesome. We spent about 3 hours there and didn’t even see half of the market. My feet were killing me. After leaving the market, we headed to Bercy Village (grams favourite) and parked the car, which took a little while. Parking in Paris is a little crazy. We had kabab’s for lunch and they were delicious. We hopped on the metro and headed for the Eiffel Tower. When I saw it from the window of the Subway (because not all the subway is underground) I almost died from excitement. Like I was actually going to go to the top of it. While waiting in line to buy tickets I took my first Eiffel tower selfie and I was so excited it looked like this. I was pretty happy.

After waiting in line for about 45 mins and going through security we we standing in front of the doors to the elevators. We were the first ones in line so I got a perfect view while going up the tower. When we got to the 2nd level of the tower (you don’t go to the 1st level until you are coming down) I realized how magnificent the view actually was. And we weren’t even at the top yet! It was gorgeous. We took lots of pictures ( I took lots of selfies) and we just took in the moment.

We took another elevator to the top of the tower and it was so beautiful. I mean everything here is. After going down on two more elevators we took the stairs down the last level, which was amazing and scary at the same time. It was perfect.

We walked across the street to get a full view of the tower and to get more pictures (aka selfies). The view was absolutely breath taking and it is something I will never be able to forget. My dreams came true today, and it truly was the best day ever.

I’m so thrilled for you. I knew that you would experience your dream one day, but I thought I would be there with you, ( kinda am through your pictures) or you would be with your Mom, or Dad or your sisters, but alas you chose to do it without any of us. I’m so VERY proud of you and so VERY envious. Paris is such a beautiful city and you will never forget your first visit there, but no matter how many times you go there each time you will discover something new.
Did you buy anything at the market? It sounds like a really cool place. Remember where it is so you can take us. Continue to have the time of your life sweetheart and keep us all posted. Love you from here to the top of La Tour Eiffel 💞💕💞
