Paris

It was a moment in my life that I will never be able to forget.

Yesterday we left early to drive to Paris. It is an hour drive but it took over half an hour to find a parking space. We went to one of the only antique markets in Paris and toured around for over two hours. It is very big and takes a very long time to walk around. We went for lunch in Paris and I had to go pee very badly. I went to the bathroom, and at first I thought that I had went into the boys, but no I did not. There was no toilette seat and lets just say it was an experience. So that happened.

My first metro ride was to Sacré-Cœur in Paris. It was so beautiful. The view took a good 10 minutes to take in. We climbed up the steps into the magnificent church. The inside was gorgeous but sadly I was not allowed to take pictures. We walked around the town of Montmartre for several hours, watching different artists and going into different shops. It was nice to hear people talking English.

The city of Paris

While walking down to the street I saw the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. The Eiffel Tower. It was the best moment ever, I almost started to cry. My dreams had finally came true. We took a short walk down to the Moulin Rouge which was also very cool. The pictures of the shows they have looked absolutely fabulous though tickets are more then 120 Euros each!

I cannot wait until I go back to Paris! It was just amazing. I wish that my whole exchange could just tour around the city all day, I would never get bored.

Bonne journée,

Libbey

Isn’t it all amazing Libbey so much to take in but as they say in the song…….
“Baaahbaaby you ain’t seen nothing yet”. Just wait until you get to tour the Musee D’Orsay, or the Louvre, or the Invalides, or sit at an outdoor cafe on Champs De Élysées and enjoy some people watching and a cafe au lait. So much to do and you have 11 months, wow, so awesome. Drink it all up enjoy every experience even the not so nice toilette, which by the way is not the worst😬 I’ve seen over there. Have the time of your life darling and thanks for bringing us along for the ride through your blog. Love you tons. 😘❤️❌⭕️

I only spent the weekend in Paris, so I only got to see a glimpse of this, a peak at that. Did you get to see the Eiffel Tower at night? It’s worth the trip just for that.
